After harvesting, the outer pulp is removed while the naturally sweet, sticky mucilage remains on the bean. Slowly dried under the sun, this method allows the sugars to ferment and intensify, developing a deeper, more complex flavour profile.

The result is a rich, full-bodied coffee with a natural sweetness, smooth texture, and layered notes.  Bold yet refined, Black Honey Coffee offers a truly elevated and distinctive coffee experience.

Costa Rica is renowned for producing some of the world’s finest coffees, where strict quality standards and ideal growing conditions come together to create beans of exceptional character. In keeping with this tradition, all coffee beans sourced from Costa Rica are processed using only pure water and the natural warmth of the sun—avoiding commercial drying methods and chemical treatments.
